Question: How does the UniPro System work?

Answer:

The UniPro Valve Closure System stays on the loading/unloading platform, or in close proximity to bulk containers that will be serviced. It does not travel with the containers. When containers arrive to be serviced, the UniPro actuators are installed on the open container valves. Should there be a leak, tank car motion, process shutdown or other emergency situation, sensors automatically signal the UniPro Control Panel, which immediately activates the UniPro Air Control Unit. This sends compressed air or nitrogen to the actuators. They close the valves in seconds, preventing or minimizing a serious release of the chemical being processed.
