Panels are listed by Underwriters Laboratory bearing the UL & CUL mark for use in the United States and Canada markets. Custom Shutdown Systems for Safe Handling of Hazardous Gas

Powell supplies all potential customers with a detailed questionnaire to determine which components will be needed to assemble an emergency shutdown system specific to the customer’s needs. On occasion, customers have applications that make use of modified or unique hardware. In these cases, Powell offers an Application Evaluation Service. Since Powell is the original equipment manufacturer, application evaluations can have results ranging from simple advice given over the phone to a complete development program that would yield custom components to fit a unique need.

Powell is the only manufacturer to offer both pneumatic or electric systems for both small (150 lb - 1 Ton) to large container sizes (20 Ton Bullet Tanks to 90 Ton Railcars).

Powell offers several brackets designed to adapt to a variety of valve types, making the systems compatible with an extensive list of hazardous gasses. Powell can design, engineer and test prototype brackets upon request.
