Powell E-Pro® Electric Valve Closure System vs. Other Electric Shutdown Systems
Powell is the only valve closure manufacturer to offer both an electric
system and a pneumatic system for small containers
such as 150 lb gas cylinders and ton containers.
The
Powell E-Pro® Electric Valve Closure System uses standard 120-volt AC power.
It is ideal for plants or remote facilities that do not have compressed air or nitrogen
required by pneumatic systems. Unlike battery-powered units, you do not have to
worry about system failure when the batteries discharge. Designed for both 1-ton
and 150-lb containers, the E-Pro's unique mounting bracket easily attaches and detaches
from the valve stem in seconds, without tools.

The valve can be opened electrically from the actuator, with no delicate clutch
to engage or break.

The actuator can be tested at full power on the valve. No need for a low torque
test mode.
