Frequently Asked Questions About the UniPro™ Valve Closure Systems

Question:

How much torque do the UniPro™ Actuators deliver?

Answer:

There are four different UniPro™ actuators for different kinds of valves. The UniPro™ Standard delivers 120 lb-ft of torque to traditional ACF angle plug valves. With the Torque Limiting Valve Adapter installed, it delivers only 30 lb-ft of torque. The UniPro™ R is reversible. It also delivers 120 lb-ft of torque in both opening and closing directions. It is intended to assist operators in the manipulation of ACF angle plug valves. The UniPro™ LT delivers only 30 lb-ft of torque to operate the soft seat angle plug valves that require hand operation only.
