Frequently Asked Questions About the UniPro Valve Closure Systems

Question:

The containers I service have quarter turn angle ball valves on them. How do I close them with the UniPro Valve Closure System?

Answer:

The UniPro QT actuator is designed to operate the quarter turn angle ball valves found on tank cars and tank trucks carrying pressurized chemicals. Depending on which type of valves you must service, we can determine which of the available UniPro QT valve adapters are appropriate for your application. The UniPro QT delivers 50 lb-ft of torque to the valve handles on ACF, Jamesbury, UTC angle ball valves and straight through ball valves. Like the other members of the UniPro family of valve actuators, it operates on the same UniPro support equipment and can be interchanged with any other UniPro actuator in seconds without using tools, and without changing the air pressure.
