Emergency Valve Closure Systems for Small Containers
Powell is the only valve closure manufacturer to offer both an electric system and a pneumatic system for small containers such as 150 lb cylinders and 1-Ton containers.
Powell Valve Closure Systems are superior to any other valve closure system available on the market.
- Powell systems mount on the body of the valve - not on the yoke as other competitor systems do. Systems which mount on the yoke can actually cause a leak when activated.
- Unlike other systems, both Powell's Electric and Pneumatic Valve Closure systems operate - even in the event of a power failure - without relying on less than dependable batteries.

Uses standard 120-volt AC power. Ideal for smaller plants or remote facilities that don’t have compressed air or nitrogen required by pneumatic systems.
