Frequently Asked Questions About the UniPro™ Valve Closure Systems

Question:

What if I only get tank cars or tank trucks with soft seat angle plug valves?

Answer:

If you never have to operate ACF valves, the UniPro™ LT is the appropriate actuator. It is the little brother of the UniPro™ Standard actuator and at 90 psig, it will deliver only enough torque to operate the soft seat valves that require no more than hand tightening. It cannot be used on high torque ACF or similar valves requiring more than 30 lb-ft of torque to operate.
