Frequently Asked Questions About the UniPro™ Valve Closure Systems
Question:
What if my plant air system fails? What if our electric service fails? Will the UniPro™ System still close the valves?
Answer:
Yes. By including the UniPro™ Air Receiver in the system, there will always be sufficient pressure and volume of air to close the valves after a plant air failure. Even without the UniPro™ Air Receiver, the UniPro™ Air Control Unit is designed to automatically close the valves if pressure drops below a preset minimum.
Powell also offers an uninterruptible power supply that will keep the UniPro™ System operational in the event of an electrical power loss.
